Although most damages can be covered by the group's security deposited amount, some damages can go beyond the value of 7000 Euro per Jetski. To the best of our knowlegde, most travel or liability insurances in the Netherlands do not cover any damages caused by Jet Ski'ing. This means that Dutch guests will have to pay for any damages out of own their own pocket. We don't have any information on travel insurance or liability insurance coverage for other countries. Please check your insurance coverage prior to making a reservation with us.

As we are still a small company, we do not offer pickup services. We can recommend a number of taxi companies that we work with often (we know which taxies are puntual, quick and cost efficient). When making your reservation, please add a note to the booking to indicate that you would like our help to connect you to a great taxi company. Required: Swimming license (advanced) The local law stipulates that a sailling license is not needed for participants of the tour if the jetski tour is guided by a professional watersports company registered on Curacao. Chichi Jetski Tours is formally registered with the Curacao Ports Authority as a commercial watersports company. Chichi Jetski Tours guides are fully certified. Therefore - if you book a guided jetski tour with Chichi Jetski Tours, you do not need a sailing license (vaarbewijs) to drive a jetski during the tour.

Swimming wear (please do not wear new swimming gear as the colors may come off and damage the leather on the saddle of the Jet Ski). We have no toilet, locker room, or shower on the departure location, please take this into account when planning your trip. Please expect some waves as the route that we are following is mainly open sea. When we enter the harbours (Spaanse Water, Fuikbaai), the sea will be calmer and it will be possible to increase your velocity.

The security deposit is 300 Euro / 600 Guilders / $ 340 for each Jet Ski. Security deposits help cover problems or accidents that occur during a reservation, like damages or not following the guide's rules. At time of check-in, an authorization hold will be secured on the credit or debit card provided. These funds will not be available for your use. The authorization hold will be released when the equipment is returned in the same condition as you received it and when all rules were followed. The time it takes to release this additional authorization depends on your bank and is beyond the control of Chichi Jetski Tours. The average transaction reversal on creditcards is immediate and some creditcard release the amount within 3 to 5 business days . The deposit is 300 Euro / 600 Guilders / 340 Dollars for each rented Jet Ski to be paid on the day of the tour (During check-in prior to departure). If you use a credit card for the deposit, we will charge the credit card (we will not make a reservation, but a charge). The deposit will be returned to you immediately on completion of the tour (in case rules have been followed and in case of no damages). When the deposit will be returned, it will be returned in the same way that it was paid. In the case that you used a credit card for the deposit, we will cancel/void the transaction which will return the deposit to your credit card. Some creditcard companies (such as Rabobank) may take up to 5 working days to fully process the cancellation, so your spending limit would be affected during the time that the bank will take to remove the reservation. A release of liability waiver will be signed by each participant prior to departure of each tour. In this agreement you will agree the following (amongst other points): I authorize Chichi Jetski Tours to determine whether any damage to Chichi Jetski Tours’ equipment (identified during- or after the Activity) is new or pre-existing and I authorize Chichi Jetski Tours to determine the cost to repair any identified damage. Jetski Tours provides private tours only. I agree that my private group will be considered one entity by Chichi Jetski Tours. In case Chichi Jetski Tours identifies a new damage, I authorize Chichi Jetski to charge me the deposit that was provided by all group members. This would be irrespective of which member of my group is believed to be responsible for the damage. This includes damages that were caused by unfortunate mistake such as turning the Jet Ski upside down. I also authorize the full deposit of my group to be charged when rules are violated or when instructions from the guide are not followed (by any member in my group). I am aware that the total cost to repair certain damages can be higher than the amount that was provided as a deposit by my private group (some large damages can exceed 7000 euro per Jet Ski). I agree to pay, immediately after the Activity, for the estimated excess cost to repair the damages. If at a later date, Chichi Jetski Tours determines that the actual cost to repair the damage is higher than initially estimated (and sufficient evidence is provided of the unforeseen extra costs) , I will authorize Chichi Jetski Tours to charge me for these additional costs. I agree to pay for the damage that I (or any member in my group) caused to Chichi Jetski Tours or any third party. I will not raise any disputes. Please also check the FAQ on insurance coverage.

Yes - but at your own risk. There is a water resistant compartment on the Jet Ski in which you can store your phone. Please note: Due to the shocks at sea, the phone may get damaged. Also please note that although the newest phones (such as Iphone 14 or Samsung) may be waterproof/resistant, they are not really resistant to salt water. To reduce the chance of any issues, please wrap the phone in shock absorbing material such as an old t-shirt and please ensure you close the lid carefully to ensure the phone does not jump out.

Yes! We will provide training and detailed instructions on how to operate the Jet Ski before we start the tour. The time for this training is not included in the time of your tour. It's therefore important to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. No boat license is required when you book a tour with us as all our Jet Ski rides are guided. If needed - the guide will be there to support and coach you while you are at sea. The guide is here for your safety and also for our reputation on the island.

All participants have to be good swimmers and in good health. The minimum age for passengers is 8 years (accompanied by adult). The minimum age for drivers is 16 years (bring your ID if you are under 18). If you are older than 8 years and you can swim in rough seas, you can participate as a passenger. However - The maximum allowed weight of 2 persons on 1 Jet Ski is 160 KG

Going on a Jetski tour with us is not allowed with us if you are expecting a baby.

We request that if you would like to cancel, to please cancel as soon as possible (please use Email or WhatsApp). This gives us the opportunity to fill the schedule. We offer refund as follows: * Clients canceling more than 7 days prior to the start of the tour will be eligible for a 75% refund. * Clients canceling between 3 and 7 days prior to the start of the tour will be eligible for a 50% refund. * Clients canceling between 24 hours and 3 days prior to the start of the tour will be eligible for a 25% refund. Any additional charges incurred by financial 3rd party service providers (credit card companies, payment processors) will be borne seperately by the client. No refund will be provided under the following circumstances. - Cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the start of the tour, or cancellations for same-day reservations, will not receive any refund. - Clients expressing dissatisfaction with weather or any other tour conditions will not be eligible for a refund. The tour operator will make reasonable efforts to address concerns but is not obligated to provide a refund in such cases. - Clients changing their mind on the day of the tour and deciding not to participate will not be eligible for any refund. - Clients found to have violated tour rules, such as the use of alcohol, will not be eligible for any refund. Any damages or additional costs incurred due to rule violations will be charged separately. - If a tour has already been rescheduled once, no refund will be provided in case of a later cancellation. - Clients experiencing issues with the payment of the deposit on the day of the tour will not be eligible for any refund. Participation in the tour is contingent upon successful payment. - Clients arriving late (please arrive 20 minutes prior to scheduled time of departure) or do not show at all for any reason will not receive any refund. Chichi Jetski Tours reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy under extraordinary circumstances at their discretion. In case a refund is applicable, this will arrive back into the client's bank account circa 5 business days after the cancellation was accepted.

We prioritize the standard tours that we offer via our website and we do not take reservations in advance for shorter Jet Ski rides. However .... if you contact us on the day itself via Phone, or via WhatApp (+5999 5219400) we may be able to fit you in for a tour of 30 minutes from 2 Jet Ski's and up (if we are open and in case our schedule allows). for 2 Jet Ski's, the price for a 30 minutes ride is 150 Euro, 300 Guilders or 170 Dollars for 3 Jet Ski's, the price for a 30 minutes ride is 225 Euro, 450 Guilders or 255 Dollars The price for each extra passenger will be 50 Euro, 100 Guilders or 60 Dollars. The standard security deposit will also apply for these shorter trips (300 Euro, 600 Guilders, 340 Dollars per Jet Ski).

The Jet Ski activity is inherently hazardous, and our guests may be exposed to dangers, including some of the following: unpredictable ocean currents, lightning, hypothermia, hostile or aggressive wildlife, and negligence of others.​ To minimize the risks for Chichi Jetski Tours and it's guests, Chichi Jetski Tours maintains strict safety rules. A life vest will be provided by Chichi Jetski Tours. Wearing of life vest and dead man's cord is mandatory. Follow the instructions provided by the guide, stay behind the guide at the seaside of the guide. Sail in the dark blue part of the sea (circa 200 meters away from the coast). Keep eye contact with the guide and other members of your group during the trip. Adjust your speed to ensure the group stays together as one. Keep enough distance between members in your group and any obstacles such as other boats, rocks, the coast, and the guide. When deciding on the appropriate distance, take into account the unpredictable effect of waves which may pick up the Jet Ski and take it into unexpected directions. Take into account the unpredictable effect of unexpected movements from other Jet Ski Ride participants. The deposit will be charged to all deposit providers for the Jet Skis that were involved in the tour - irrespective of who is believed to be responsible for the collision. Yes - you can bring a GoPro at your own risk. However - the GoPro cannot be attached to the Jet Ski, so please bring your own GoPro headset or body mount (Gopro Chesty)
